Black Hawk College seeks Adjunct Faculty in our Chemistry Department. Instruction at Quad Cities Campus in Moline and/or East Campus in Galva, IL
Description Of Duties
Faculty member is expected to encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi; by developing lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students educational experience; develops, and executes appropriate methods of evaluating students performance; develops, secures, and maintains the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material.
Education & Experience
CHEMISTRY - M.S. or M.A. in Chemistry is required. Teaching experience and industrial experience in chemistry is preferred. Must possess demonstrated oral English proficiency for classroom instruction. (Rev. 5/l/88) (Rev. 12/20/91) (Rev. 5/05/00)
Supplemental Information
Pay is commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum starting pay for adjunct faculty (as of Fall 2024)
Less Than a Master s Degree = $693.36 per equated hour
Master: s Degree = $808.92 per equated hour
Doctorate = $866.70 per equated hour
