We are hunting for an operational powerhouse who can build relationships in the community, command tech sales conversations, and work hands-on in the field alongside our technical crew.
The RoleAs a Business Growth Specialist, you will blend tech sales expertise, marketing tactics, client management, and real-world field deployment. You will split your time between driving brand growth out in the community, securing new accounts, nurturing our existing client ecosystem, and acting as a skilled installer on technical deployments.

Because operational competency is a core value of our team, this position participates directly in our technical field on-call rotation alongside all technicians.
- Drive Business Growth & Marketing: Engage with local businesses, project developers, and industrial prospects to generate new commercial leads. Execute localized marketing and direct outreach campaigns to maximize territory visibility.
- Cultivate Client Relationships: Maintain and deepen long-term relationships with current accounts, ensuring their infrastructure scales seamlessly with their needs.
- Technical Solution Engineering: Evaluate client environments and confidently present custom solutions spanning IT systems, commercial network hardware, surveillance architectures, and cloud‑managed physical security.
- Hands‑on Field Installation & Support: Run and terminate low‑voltage cabling, mount and install camera and alarm systems, troubleshoot equipment, and perform system testing to ensure everything operates properly on‑site.
- Project & Site Management: Help steer ongoing installations to guarantee project deadlines are hit cleanly. Maintain a clean, organized work environment both on‑site and in company vehicles, and follow strict company safety procedures at all times.
- Tech Sales & Marketing Background: Proven experience selling technical hardware (e.g., IT systems, enterprise networking equipment, security integrations) or enterprise software, backed by a strong foundation in direct lead generation.
- Field Capability & Tools Knowledge: Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and electrical or low‑voltage work. You must be completely willing and able to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability & Adaptability: A strong work ethic, high reliability, and a willingness to travel to different job sites across Illinois and surrounding project areas when needed.
- High Drive: A minimum commitment of 40 hours a week, with a hunger to capture extensive overtime hours as field projects demand.
- Clean Record: A valid driver's license, clean driving history (to access company vehicles), and the ability to pass a background check.
- Solid Foundation: $25.00/hour base rate with steady, full‑time hours.
