We're seeking a Robot Programmer to support automation projects for one of our client's engineering teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and deploy robot programs for material handling, welding, machine tending, and assembly applications
- Configure tool paths, frames, and I/O integration for new and existing robotic work cells
- Support cell buyoff, runoff, and onsite startup at customer facilities
- Troubleshoot motion, vision, and communication issues during commissioning and production support
- Document programs, sequences, and operator instructions for handoff and long‑term support
- 3+ years of hands‑on robot programming experience
- Strong working knowledge of FANUC controllers and teach pendant programming
- Exposure to multiple application types across industrial automation
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings for cell layout and integration
- CAD experience for reviewing tooling, fixtures, or end‑of‑arm designs is a plus
- Comfort working onsite at customer facilities during installation and startup phases
- Strong troubleshooting mindset across mechanical, electrical, and controls issues
- Willingness to travel as project schedules require
