Top 20 design firm in the Mid-West looking to bring to their team an Electrical Engineer! This position has a focus on the Industrial, Government and Mission Critical Markets. The types of projects range from power plants, assembly/manufacturing facilities, warehouses and labs. There is an opportunity to work directly with the client. ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design and overview of process controls, emergency power, contaminate control and structural design and design of electrical systems to code requirements.
* Research for commercially available equipment and specify equipment needs based on project and available technologies.
* Calculates costs and time schedules for proposed work while monitoring costs throughout all phases of the design project. *.Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, clerical and equipment suppliers.
* Recommend changes and/or improvements that result in less production costs while maintaining and organizing addendum information. *.Determine project scope, personnel involved, coordinate and work with assigned personnel on project.
* Conduct periodic job site observations and all other services as required by the contract services agreement.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
* Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans and drawings. Skill in the use of Microsoft programs and CAD software. Please contact Laura Harrison for further details:
