Engineer, Snubber Program - Constellation Energy Constellation Energy seeks an Engineer for our Snubber Program within the Engineering & Design department. In this role, you will design, analyze, and optimize snubber systems that protect critical energy infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across our power fleet. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on high impact projects, apply advanced analytical tools, and drive continual improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, analysis, and optimization of snubber systems for power generation assets
  • Develop and validate analytical models to predict snubber performance and reliability
  • Review plant modifications and ensure snubber designs meet safety and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze operational and test data to diagnose snubber issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design documentation for internal and regulatory review
  • Collaborate with plant engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to support outage and project planning
  • Provide engineering support for snubber inspection, testing, and replacement programs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance snubber program performance and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and Constellation Energy engineering procedures
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the Engineering & Design team
