Position: Hospital Liaison/ Marketer

Hospital Liaison Position Summary

Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive patient referrals and admissions while building relationships with healthcare providers, hospital case managers, and the community. Represent Hadley Pointe and future properties owned by Avid Healthcare with referral sources and the community. This role is focused on building strong referral relationships, maintaining a visible presence in the market, building a positive reputation for the facility(ies), and most importantly, seal the deal to ensure the facility(ties) meet and exceed census and admission goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Census Development:
    Act as the final closer in the admission process by ensuring that each referral approved by Central Intake result in successful admissions. Conduct onsite evaluations of patients, meet with families and assist with facility tours to seal the deal. Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual census targets for average daily census and quality mix.
  • Marketing Strategy Development:
    Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to achieve business growth objectives for the facility. Build brand awareness by attending networking events, health fairs, professional meetings, and other community-based activities.
  • Relationship Building:
    Act as liaison between facility(ies) and hospitals, referral sources, and families to generate referrals and admissions. Develop, maintain, and strengthen positive relationships with hospitals, case managers, physicians, social workers, community organizations, and other referral partners.
  • Community Engagement:
    Represent the facility(ies) in interactions with referral sources, business leaders, physicians, and the community to promote services offered by the facility(ies).
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with Central Intake, facility admission teams, and leadership to ensure seamless transitions and communication throughout the referral and admission process.
  • Data Management:
    Utilize data management skills to track marketing effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed to meet census and payer mix goals.
  • Reporting & Tracking:
    Provide regular updates on referral activity, conversion rates, and community engagement efforts.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Address barriers to admissions proactively and creatively to ensure referral success.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy laws (HIPAA) and regulations.
Hospital Liaison Expectations
  • Daily market presence visiting referral sources, hospitals, healthcare providers and community partners.
  • After hours and weekend availability to affect admissions.
  • Ability to meet or exceed monthly referral conversion and census growth targets.
  • Collaboration with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions.
  • Participate in staff training and development programs.
Hospital Liaison Qualifications
  • Proven success in census growth, team leadership, and marketing strategy.
  • Proven experience in healthcare marketing, hospital liaison, or admissions role (skilled nursing or post-acute care experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field with accountability for results.
  • Professional presence and relationship-building expertise with healthcare providers and community partners.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned market.
