.
As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of nutritional care for our residents. You will be responsible for overseeing the food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. Your expertise will ensure that our residents receive delicious, nutritious, and appealing meals that cater to their dietary needs and preferences.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and manage food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements, including those related to sanitation, food safety, and nutrition
- Supervise and train dietetic technicians, cooks, and other food service staff
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized nutritional care plans
- Monitor food inventory, place orders, and manage budget effectively
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to food service operations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nutrition, food service management) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders
