Director of Rehab DOR

Job Summary:

Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a compassionate and patient-centered healthcare facility in East Moline, Illinois
, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Director of Rehab DOR to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Rehab DOR will play a vital role in shaping the rehabilitation programs and services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Director of Rehab DOR will lead by example, demonstrating a passion for rehabilitation, a commitment to excellence, and a focus on resident-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of rehabilitation professionals, providing oversight and guidance to ensure high-quality services that meet the needs of our residents
  • Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs that align with the facility's mission and goals
  • Collaborate with the medical and nursing teams to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Identify and develop opportunities for professional development and growth within the team
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication among staff members
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support rehabilitation programs and services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including assessment data, treatment plans, and resident outcomes
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a long-term care environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology)
  • Current licensure/certification as a rehabilitation professional (e.g., PT, OT, SLP)
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team building and staff development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records and rehabilitation software
