Robert Half is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to hire a Purchasing Assistant. This role plays a key part in supporting purchasing, inventory accuracy, and daily supply chain operations. Schedule

• Full-time, onsite position
• Occasional overtime required during peak periods, primarily during the first two weeks of each month when purchasing and inventory activities are at their highest volume.

What You'll Do

• Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and incoming material receipts
• Monitor and follow up on open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
• Reconcile purchasing documentation and assist with invoice discrepancies
• Manage invoices through a shared department inbox
• Partner with plant and operations teams to resolve receiving and material issues
• Generate reports within the ERP system
• Maintain pricing and inventory-related data using Excel
• Assist with inventory reporting, valuation, and record accuracy
• Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle count activities
• Support day-to-day purchasing and supply chain administrative functions
