George Evans Corporation is looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our Steel Shed team. This position plays a key role in keeping production moving by safely handling steel materials, operating forklifts and cranes, and maintaining accurate inventory within our Global Shop Solutions (GSS) system.

WHAT YOU’LL DO- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
- Unload incoming steel deliveries
- Move materials throughout the production facility
- Load outgoing shipments safely and accurately
- Maintain inventory accuracy and material traceability in GSS
- Verify labels, paperwork, and materials for accuracy
- Support production teams by ensuring materials are where they need to be
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Previous forklift or crane experience preferred
- Ability to work in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
- Team player with a positive attitude
- ERP or inventory system experience is a plus
