Salary: $22 - $29 per hour

Job Details Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments.
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
  • Monitor production runs to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and production records.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet manufacturing goals.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency using precision measurement tools.
  • Understanding of GD&T and machining tolerances preferred.
  • Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Siemens, or similar controls is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CNC setup experience
  • Experience machining steel, aluminum, stainless steel, or specialty alloys.
  • Ability to edit CNC programs at the machine.
  • Technical degree or machinist apprenticeship training.
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and moving equipment.
