Mid Level
Salary: $22 - $29 per hour
Job Details Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
- Monitor production runs to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements.
- Maintain proper documentation and production records.
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet manufacturing goals.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency using precision measurement tools.
- Understanding of GD&T and machining tolerances preferred.
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Siemens, or similar controls is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
- CNC setup experience
- Experience machining steel, aluminum, stainless steel, or specialty alloys.
- Ability to edit CNC programs at the machine.
- Technical degree or machinist apprenticeship training.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and moving equipment.
We are seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, performing machine setups, making tool offsets, and producing precision components that meet quality and production requirements.
