RN Emergency

Full Time - 0.9 FTE

Mid Shift: 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available

• Quickly assess patients upon arrival to determine the severity of patients' condition, prioritizing care based on urgency. This includes monitoring vital signs, documenting symptoms, and initiating appropriate treatment protocols.
• Provide immediate care and treatment to patients experiencing acute medical conditions such as trauma, heart attacks, or respiratory distress. This may include administering medications, starting IVs, wound care, and preparing patients for surgery or transfer.
• Work closely with doctors, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination during emergency situations.

• Education: Diploma from an RN Program
• License(s)/Certification(s):
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
  • Must apply within 90 days for Registered Nurse licensure in Illinois.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or TNS required to be completed within one year of hire date.
