Veterinary Extern - General Practice- Stipend

Overview

Oak Knoll Animal Hospital offers a focused, hands‑on externship for veterinary students providing real experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative small animal practice.

• Work closely with two highly engaged veterinarians—one specializing in general practice and exotics, and the other with a heavy surgical focus and acupuncture.
• Learn with hands‑on experiences provided by a well‑trained support team.

Ideal candidates are motivated 4th year veterinary students who thrive in a busy, team‑driven practice and are eager to learn and produce.

Located in the Quad Cities, East Moline offers a small‑town feel with easy access to outdoor recreation, river trails, and larger metro amenities—just 2.5 hours from Chicago.

Externs are eligible for a $2,500 stipend to support travel and living expenses.
