Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 – $18 / hour* + 40/mile gas allowance

• Monitor store employees to ensure they ask for the customer’s e quoting a price
• Check if store employees use age-verification devices if available
• Partake in regular visits to ensure proper use of the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and age-verification devices
• Send an email report to the store’s management after each visit
• Will be driving to different locations in IA/IL as a secret shopper to try to buy alcohol and tobacco products according to customer direction
• Will issue red or green cards to Checker
• Will use website on phone to record each stop
• Will be checking to see if cashier or server cards you with alcohol or tobacco sales

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), Weekends

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready
• Must be in an age range where businesses will ask for identification to prove legal age for purchasing alcohol and tobacco items to ensure compliance
• Have a valid state issued identification card
• Reliable transportation
