As a Retail Team Member at Goodwill, you will contribute to the success of our stores and our overall mission by providing outstanding customer service, processing donations, utilizing the cash register, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers and team members. Your role involves handling material, greeting donors, processing donations, and replenishing inventory stock on the sales floor.
Production Retail Team Members will follow best practices for sorting, tagging, hanging, and pricing merchandise, and will work closely with store leadership to assess inventory needs. They will accurately record production units to meet or exceed production goals set by leadership and customer demand.
Outlet Retail Team Members will accurately read and record the weight of customer selections, operate large tipping units to fill boats and bring product to the sales floor, and will, as needed, supplement production efforts through accurate and efficient product sorting and material handling.
Responsibilities- Process donations and handle material
- Greet donors and provide customer service
- Use the cash register and ensure accurate transactions
- Replenish inventory stock on the sales floor
- Sort, tag, hang, and price merchandise (Production)
- Record production units and meet production goals
- Read and record weight of selections (Outlet)
- Operate large tipping units and fill boats (Outlet)
- Supplement production efforts when required (Outlet)
Scheduling varies with morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours. Team members are required to work every other weekend. Starting wage is $15.15 per hour.
Qualifications- Ability to read and write
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Related work experience preferred, but not required
- Successful completion of a sex offender background check
