Job SummaryMechanic
ResponsibilitiesThe mechanic/technician performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. Tasks include:
- Perform preventive maintenance on aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty equipment.
- Diagnose and repair diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil & gas equipment.
- Maintain safety standards and work in fast‑paced environments.
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of mechanic experience with diesel or specialty equipment strongly preferred.
- Ability to use a mechanic’s tool set.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Spanish or other bilingual ability may be required.
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.
