Senior Maintenance Technician in Moline

Job Description

Experienced maintenance technician wanted. Organized self-starter needed for this position. Must possess skills in all areas of residential apartment building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, drywall repair, carpentry, painting. Routine janitorial duties are also required for this position. Must be willing to do after-hours on-call jobs (with paid overtime). Must live within 45 minutes of job site. After 60-day probationary period, 6 paid sick days and 5 paid personal days are provided to the employee.

After one-year's service 10 paid vacation days are provided to the employee.

• Completing work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Turnover vacant units for rental
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractor as necessary

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must have valid Driver's License

Pay is based on experience. Regular hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM. After a 60-day probation period, employees receive 6 paid sick days and 5 paid personal days. After one year of service, employees receive 10 paid vacation days.
