Family Finding and Resource Specialist

Bethany for Children & Families seeks a Family Finding and Resource Specialist to help children achieve safety, stability, and permanency. In this role, you will locate and engage relatives and kin, assess caregivers and homes, and connect families to community, behavioral health, and housing resources. Working within a compassionate, client-centered team, you will collaborate with caseworkers and partners, maintain detailed documentation, and provide ongoing support that empowers children and families across the Quad Cities region.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage relatives and kin as potential supports and placements for children and youth
• Conduct home and safety assessments of prospective family and resource caregivers
• Coordinate and link families to community, behavioral health, and housing resources
• Collaborate with caseworkers, clinicians, and community partners to support permanency goals
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
• Participate in team meetings, case staffing, and family conferences
• Provide ongoing follow-up and support to families to promote stability and well-being
• Advocate for children and families, ensuring services are accessible and culturally responsive
