Python Developer

Location : Local candidates are preferred to work onsite in Moline, IL, but fully remote candidates may be considered if they are well qualified for the role.

NOTE:

As a Senior Software Engineer on the embedded operations team, you will be:

• Automating and scripting to improve adoption of internal systems
• Aiding in operating system adoption and version upgrades
• Working with the OS Enablement engineer to implement automation, documentation, and workflows around EMB
  32 upgrades
• Writing scripts to work with C code
• Reading between the lines and handling edge cases in design; creating generic tools to work with varying customer needs

• 5-7 years of experience in relevant areas
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python most commonly, but others acceptable)
• Working understanding of C code
• Experience with discrete real‑time operating systems; experience in JDOS or EMB
  32 is beneficial but not required

• Experience building tools
• Prior work in embedded systems with tooling development

• Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience
• Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience

Hourly Rate Range - $40-$60 per hour.
