Bus Drivers provide vital connection to jobs, education and healthcare, making the Quad Cities a better place to live. Metro will assist you in obtaining a CDL. All you need is a valid license, good driving record and a desire to make a difference in someone's life.
Bus Drivers start at $24.00 hr. and progress to $34.14 after the completion of 3 years service. This is a full‑time position with a full benefit package including health, dental and life insurance, paid vacation, sick and holiday pay, pension with the Illinois Retirement Fund (IMRF), voluntary 457 deferred compensation plan, on‑site nurse, fitness room, and free transportation on Metro's fixed route.
