Job Title: Natural Gas Distribution Inspector (Levels 1-4)
Location: Monahans, TX
Level 1- Perform inspections on pipelines to assess their structural integrity, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and necessary repairs.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices, including PHMSA part 192, OSHA site safety, Maximo/Moblite, Locus IQ, Pragma CAD, as‑built drawings, and ONE MAP.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pipeline inspection or a related field.
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction, maintenance, and repair processes.
- Experience in distribution construction activities: main line installation, service line installation, tie‑ins, service and mainline retirements, leak repair, regulator settings, weld mapping.
- Conduct inspections of pipelines, focusing on line extensions and rebuild services.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in pipeline inspection, focusing on line extensions and rebuild services.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction, maintenance, and repair processes, particularly related to line extensions and rebuild projects.
- Experience in distribution construction activities as above.
- Spearhead capital rebuild and relocation projects, overseeing planning to execution.
- Identify and address leaks swiftly to minimize environmental impact and ensure safety.
- 5–6 years of experience in pipeline inspection, focusing on capital rebuilds, relocations, and leak detection.
- API 1169 certification.
- Monitor contractor work on gas pipeline and service installations, replacements, and relocations within the service area.
- Work in accordance with company standards and 49 CFR 192.
- Oversee transmission projects, ensuring integrity, safety, and compliance.
- Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in pipeline inspection, specializing in transmission projects.
- CPWI and API 1169 certifications.
