Operations Manager

Hampel Oil Distributors, Inc. is a family-owned and operated wholesale distributor of finished petroleum products that was started in 1976 by Al Hampel. • Assist with day-to-day operations at the branch and help to achieve sales, customer service, and profitability goals and objectives while improving productivity and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with associates, customers, and vendors.
• Develop employees and company culture by promoting mutual respect, a positive regard for company growth, training, development, and retention of employees.
• This Position will supervise drivers and dispatchers.
• Support and demonstrate company culture and values with coworkers and customers.
• Always put safety first.

• 2 years supervisory experience required with strong leadership and decision-making skills, including proven expertise in successfully coaching and mentoring employees.
• 5 years supervisory experience preferred.

• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills that deliver our intended scope on time and within budget.
• Proficient in the use of computers and software (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.).

• CDL A License with tanker & hazmat endorsements.
• 2 years of management experience in the fuel and lubricant industry.
• Knowledge of Hampel Oil’s business and customer base.

Starting pay range: $100K - $110K a year. Work a typical schedule of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. Some weekend availability is required.
