• Copy of qualifying Praxis Paraprofessional test scores of 456 or higher. Applicants interested in taking the Praxis exam can visit  for additional information.
• Negative TB test results under 1 year old. BCSD strongly encourages all applicants to upload TB test results. If the applicant has not completed the test, a word document acknowledging the results will be uploaded.

Paraprofessional Praxis exams are offered through Berkekely County School District and Dorchester District
2. There is a registration cost of $75 that must be submitted at the time the test is administered.

Applicants will be contacted by the school/location they have applied to within 3 weeks if selected for an interview. Please do not call the district regarding an interview status. Depending on the volume of applications received, not all applicants may be interviewed. Applicants may be considered for multiple vacancies.
