Job Details:

• Job Title: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Moncks Corner, SC
• Setting: School
• Pay Range: 43.25 - 51.63
• Schedule: 37.5 hours / week (Full Time or Part Time Options)
• Contract Length: 2026 - 2027 School Year
• Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
• Preferred: Valid Special Education Teacher license. Willing to obtain state licensure. 2 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred but not required.
• Requirements: Valid license required. School-based experience preferred. New grads welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Providing both one-on-one and small group instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Maintaining detailed documentation of student progress and communication with team members
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
