Mechanical Engineer, PE

Overview

LBE, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a motivated full-time Mechanical Engineer in its Moncks Corner, SC office. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working for an engineering firm and must hold at least a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a proven understanding of applied HVAC and Plumbing engineering. Our projects include new construction and renovation projects across federal, commercial, and industrial business sectors in the United States and abroad.

• Perform mechanical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion;
• Prepare mechanical detailing for construction drawings;
• Apply strong knowledge of commonly used mechanical engineering and design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the mechanical engineering industry;
• Establish and implement standards, processes, procedures, and workflows;
• Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced team members;
• Perform construction administration activities – responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and other related activities;
• Completes site visits to assess conditions;
