Education and Experience:
Requires Associate's degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college education with emphasis in interpretation for the hearing impaired, sign language or a closely related field, one to two years of experience as an interpreter, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities;
and must possess sign language certification. Temporary Employee

Resume Valid SC Teaching Certificate (if applicable) Negative TB test results under 1 year old. BCSD strongly encourages all applicants to upload their TB test results. If the applicant has not completed the test, he/she will be required to upload a word document acknowledging that the results will be uploaded as soon as the test is completed.
Please Note:
A delay in submitting TB test results will postpone the onboarding process. (If selected for a position) A new test is not required if currently a Berkeley County School District employee.
