Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Moncks Corner, SC

• Hold current South Carolina Sign Language Interpreter (SC SLI) certification
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English with the ability to interpret in real time
• Previous experience in educational settings is desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to inclusive education
• Flexibility to work onsite throughout the school year

• Provide interpretation services for students and staff in a variety of academic environments
• Facilitate effective communication during instructional activities, meetings, and school functions
• Prepare for classroom content and discussions to ensure accurate and nuanced interpretation
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support diverse learning needs
• Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times

This role is based on a 37.5-hour workweek, from August 5th, 2026, through June 4th, 2027. As an onsite interpreter, your presence will directly enrich students educational experiences daily.
