Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 8 years of experience in commercial management, sourcing, procurement, and agreement discussion, with a focus on general contracting within capital projects.
  • 5 years of experience with data center construction.
  • Experience in various construction contracting methods, compensation models (e.g., Lump Sum, GMP), and cost drivers.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master’s degree.
  • Certifications in CPM, jurídica.
  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in developing and implementing procurement best practices and process improvements.
  • Familiarity with Google’s internal procurement systems and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze commercial proposals, conduct cost benchmarking, and develop data-driven strategies.

As a General Contractor Commercial Manager for North America, you will be a key leader within the Commercial and Program Controls (CPC) organization, responsible for the end‑to‑end sourcing, commercial strategy development, agreement, and contracting processes for General Contractors (GCs) across Google’s Global Data Center portfolio and other capital projects. You will drive value, manage risk, and ensure commercial excellence through procurement and discussion strategies, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
