Final Detail Technician

Overview

Freeman Boatworks is looking for a Final Detail Technician to help ensure every Freeman leaves our facility in flawless, delivery-ready condition. • Wash, clean, and detail boats inside and out
• Perform final finish work on windows, upholstery, canvas, isinglass, bilges, and fiberglass
• Prep boats for delivery and complete thorough final inspections
• Identify defects or touch-ups and communicate rework needs to production leads
• Strip, caulk, and etch boats as needed to achieve a pristine finish
• Safely use buffers, polishers, and detailing products
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Pitch in with other production and delivery tasks when needed

• Experience in marine, automotive, or similar detailing preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning products, waxes, degreasers, and proper detailing techniques
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working on ladders, platforms, and around various boat structures
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently or with a team

• Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and twisting
• Standing and walking for 8+ hours
• Working in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Required PPE: safety glasses and closed-toe shoes; hearing protection as needed
