We are looking for a Shop Helper (Ready to Shipment) to join our Logistic-RTS team in Caterpillar Indonesia Batam.

As a Shop Helper at Caterpillar, you will be responsible for handling finished products starting from receiving from production, packaging, storage, and shipping products to customers safely, with good quality, on time, and accurately.

Job Type: 12 Month Contract

You will work in both office and production areas.

Domestic relocation is not available for this position.

As a Shop Helper you will:

• Work in areas with fluctuating temperatures.
• Perform activities such as walking, squatting, and bending during certain periods.
• Carry out 5S activities regularly.
• Manage finished goods and shipping processes, including receiving semi-finished goods or finished goods from the production department, packaging, and shipping to customers.
• Care for and maintain the work equipment used.
• Perform stock checks of finished goods stored outside.
• Use lifting and transportation aids such as forklifts, prime movers, overhead cranes, scissor lifts, and the like.
• Complete administrative tasks, including data entry into computers.

Successful candidates must have:

• Education level of at least SMK or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Operation Shipping is an advantage.
• Valid Operator Lifting and Transporting Equipment (Forklift) certificate and valid B2 General Driver's License.
• Willing to work with a shift system, have a high commitment to occupational safety, and be able to work effectively in a team.
• Good communication skills, able to read and write work documents, and have basic administrative and mathematical skills.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Adequate Accommodation):

• This job may require a lot of physical activity throughout the factory including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting equipment, and pushing and pulling equipment.
