, we're passionate about building premium fishing boats that deliver exceptional performance, quality, and craftsmanship. We're looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our Front Door Team and play a key role in putting the finishing touches on every boat before it reaches our customers.
As a Front Door Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring every boat meets Sea Fox's high standards of quality and appearance before moving to the final detailing process.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and complete kits, including decals, safety information, windscreens, and related components.
- Perform final fit-and-finish work on completed boats.
- Conduct thorough self-inspections before Quality Control review.
- Complete assigned items from Quality Control checklists.
- Collaborate with supervisors, team leads, and other departments to ensure all required work is completed.
- Communicate regularly with Quality Control inspectors to ensure a complete, high-quality product advances through production.
- Maintain productivity while meeting daily and weekly production goals.
- Keep tools, equipment, and workstations clean, organized, and in excellent condition.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with training and mentoring team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Passion for boating and the marine industry.
- Knowledge of boat manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with shipping and transportation processes is preferred.
- Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, marine, assembly, or production experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the manufacturing facility and shipping yard for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
