Security Guard Unarmed – General Duty (Moncks Corner, SC)

• Position Type: Full Time
• Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
• Job Schedule: Fri 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM, Sat 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM, Sun 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor customer and associate activity for unusual behavior, policy concerns, and security-related issues, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other disruptive activity.
• Support opening and closing procedures, assist with access control and alarm-related responses, and communicate with site contacts and first responders when appropriate.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
