Security Officer General Duty – Moncks Corner, SC. This unarmed security officer position is at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring activity, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, supporting access control functions, assisting team members and visitors with professionalism, and delivering strong communication and customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Mon‑Fri: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site procedures, helping to support orderly operations at the location.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel while following Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting practices.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
