As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as automotive, helping manage access control, verify badges and credentials, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

  • Monday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Friday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Saturday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, production spaces, and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document security‑related concerns, visitor activity, and access‑related events according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gate areas, and vehicle access points, noting security‑related issues and reporting conditions that may need attention.
• Support shipping, receiving, and employee access processes by communicating clearly with site contacts, maintaining visitor logs, and following post orders for deliveries, contractors, and after‑hours entry requests.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
