Hull or Deck Rigger

Hull & Deck Riggers play a critical role in bringing our boats to life by installing, assembling, and testing the systems and components that make every Sea Fox boat safe, reliable, and ready for the water.

• Install and assemble mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and marine components during boat construction.
• Rig hulls and decks with precision to ensure proper fit, function, and quality.
• Install steering systems, controls, pumps, batteries, wiring harnesses, fuel systems, and other marine components.
• Route, secure, and connect electrical wiring and plumbing systems.
• Install hardware, accessories, and equipment according to production specifications.
• Perform inspections and functional testing to ensure all systems operate properly.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and make necessary corrections.
• Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and build specifications.
• Maintain accurate installation standards while meeting production goals.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, missing materials, or production issues to leadership.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

• Previous experience in marine manufacturing or boat rigging.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Basic understanding of 12-volt electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions throughout the day.
• Ability to work inside and around boat hulls and decks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with fiberglass materials, noise, dust, and changing temperatures (this is not an air-conditioned/heated facility).
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as production schedules require.
