Shipping Auditor
Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a Shipping Auditor to join their team. As a Shipping Auditor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Shipping and Compliance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $19.00
Shift: 6am - 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday
What's the Job?
- Verify the accuracy, compliance, and completeness of shipping and transportation documentation for bulk and packaged materials.
- Audit shipping documents such as bills of lading, manifests, weight tickets, and invoices to ensure correctness.
- Review shipment details including quantities, product codes, destinations, and carrier information for accuracy.
- Ensure all outbound shipments adhere to company, customer, regulatory, and safety standards, including DOT, OSHA, and HAZMAT regulations.
- Identify discrepancies in shipping records and collaborate with operations, customer service, or carriers to resolve issues efficiently.

- Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain accuracy in documentation.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings and coordinate corrections.
- Basic proficiency with inventory control and record-keeping systems.
- Willingness to support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
