Community Development is currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Support Worker. Reporting to the Director of Community Development, this position provides both administrative and operational support for farm activities while assisting the Farm Managers as needed. This role is well suited for someone who is organized, adaptable, and eager to learn, with the ability to support day‑to‑day office functions as well as assist with hands‑on farm operations when required.

This position includes a combination of office‑based administrative duties and occasional outdoor farm work. Depending on operational needs.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Basic knowledge of office administration practices and recordkeeping procedures
• Ability to maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
• Experience with or willingness to learn accounts receivable and accounts payable data entry processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to assist with research, reporting, and project coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Willingness to learn farm operations and support operational activities as required
• Ability to perform occasional physical duties, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable, dependable, and adaptable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License is considered an asset.
