The Pallet Control Clerk plays a key role in the smooth operation of our logistics and dispatch processes. This position is responsible for accurate data entry, documentation, and coordination between internal departments and external customers to ensure efficient scheduling of deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment.
Location:
Moncton, NB
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry duties to create bills for dispatching accurately and efficiently.
- Manifest trailers for deliveries and pickups.
- Coordinate delivery appointments with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and the Dispatch team.
- Communicate with customers to arrange and confirm pickups.
- Manage correspondence via phone and email in a professional manner.
- Organize and maintain reports and related documentation.
- Perform other clerical duties as required to support the operations team.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when handling data entry tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with dispatching software (Truckmate) is considered a strong asset.
