Summer Student - Clinical Record
Job Overview
The Summer Student, Clinical Record Support provides administrative support for the organization and preparation of clinical records. Working onsite at the Moncton Head Office, this role completes assigned records‑related tasks with accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality, following established processes to support secure storage and future retrieval needs.
Location & DurationFull‑time (temporary, mid‑July to end of August), Moncton, NB
CompensationCompetitive student compensation, subject to local cost‑of‑labour benchmarks. Base pay is one part of a total compensation package.
Responsibilities- Retrieve, organize, and prepare boxes of clinical files for review and storage.
- Assess, index, and code files accurately in accordance with established standards and processes.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive clinical records and information.
- Coordinate the secure transfer of indexed files for storage.
- Complete assigned tasks with consistency, attention to detail, and adherence to instructions.
- Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience required.
- Approximately one year of experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and standardized processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in administrative, records management, or healthcare support work preferred.
