Join the Kitikmeot Inuit Association in Kugluktuk as a Business Registry Officer. This pivotal role supports Inuit contracting schedules for the Hope Bay and Back River gold mining projects.
As the Kitikmeot Qualified Business Registry Officer, you will implement key aspects of the Inuit Impact and Benefits Agreements (IIBA). Your responsibilities include monitoring contracting activities, compiling detailed reports, and facilitating support for the Community Economic Development Organization (CEDO) Committee. Travel might be necessary to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement business contracting schedules for IIBAs
• Track and review Inuit business contracting data
• Prepare project-related reports for stakeholders
• Assist the Community Economic Development Organization Committee
• Provide insights for contractor training initiatives
Requirements:
• Diploma in Office Management or Administration
• 3-5 years' relevant experience in industry
• Experience with procurement processes
• Fluency in Inuinnaqtun or Inuktitut is preferred
• Availability for occasional travel
