Become an essential part of the Culinary team at Dexterra Group as a Sandwich Maker with a focus on both quality and presentation. Enjoy a supportive remote camp lifestyle while preparing diverse sandwich options for our Waasigan Transmission Line Project.
The Sandwich Maker role involves both day and night shifts to prepare sandwiches and specialty items for the bagged lunch program. You will collaborate with Culinary leads to ensure well-prepared and visually appealing products. Emphasizing team support and client satisfaction is essential in this high-volume food service setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare sandwiches following standard recipes and menus
• Rotate food products to minimize waste
• Monitor daily sandwich setups and inventory levels
• Maintain a clean workspace per hygiene standards
• Inspect cold food for presentation quality
Requirements:
• Experience in large-scale cooking environments
• Previous sandwich maker experience preferred
• Food Safe certification preferred
• Ability to commit to 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
• Valid photo travel to site
