Job Description
The Commercial Sales Representative will partner with contractors to fully understand their needs and assist in supplying and completing construction projects. As knowledgeable sales professionals, the commercial sales representative can make recommendations to provide customers with possible solutions.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates high standards of safety and customer serviceIs a resource of knowledge for our customersProduces quotes, material lists and follows up on deliveriesAchieves weekly, monthly and annual sales targetsMaintains a contact list and contact schedule for prospective and existing customersGrows the geographic sales area by building new relationships with contractors and strengthening relationships with existing accountsCold-calling new customers to build their business portfolioContinually learns about products and market conditionsQualifications
Independent, problem solverConfident, energetic and self-motivatedExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOrganized, and can manage changing priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to quickly develop a trusting relationship with new customers, and build rapport with existing customersExperience in sales is preferredKnowledge of construction products is an asset
