Utility​/Service Foreman

Black & McDonald's Moncton office is looking for a full-time hands-on leader with a passion for Electrical Utility work. The successful applicant will work on a wide variety of projects including traffic and street lighting, electric vehicle charging systems, solar farms as well as bucket truck work. You will be working with an experienced team of workers in a safe working environment in Moncton and various locations throughout New Brunswick.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leading and mentoring a hardworking crew, ensuring every project runs smoothly
• Working closely with civil contractors and BM civil crews

• Bucket truck work
• Working with concrete light pole and bases
• Operating equipment such as telehandlers, scissor lifts, skid steers
• Collaborating with Project Managers and other teams to get the job done right
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and site plans to execute top-notch work

Work Experience Requirements:

• Red Seal Construction Electrician
• A valid Class 5 license with a clean driver's abstract
• A team player with great organizational and time management skills
• Someone who can handle the physical demands – lifting 50+ lbs, standing, walking, and bending for long hours
• Adapt easily to a variety of tasks
• Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather
• Must be able to get a variety of security clearances

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45hrs per week (Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work and overtime)
