This position will report to our Moncton, NB branch but the successful candidate will be located in P.E.I and will be required to travel to remote sites.

Nature & Scope
Take direction from the on-site Fire Alarm Service Representative, supervisors, coordinators, and/or support staff as defined by company policiesPerform duties of maintenance and inspections on fire alarm, fire extinguisher and emergency lighting systems where qualified to do so.Ensure that the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction are met.Complete work orders and report in a timely fashionBe responsible for learning and understanding applicable ULC Standards, Building Codes, Fire Codes, CSA, Canadian Electrical Code and other codes & standards which apply to their local areas.Provide onsite assistance to certified fire alarm technicians as requiredOther duties as assignedQualifications
High School Diploma, G.E.D or equivalent working experience requiredMust be registered in or have completed the CFAA Fire Alarm Technician coursesTwo years of community college in electronics is desired, or enrolled in community college in an electronics program considered a strong assetProficiency in the use of computersMust possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving recordExceptional customer service skillsExcellent communication skills – both oral and writtenOrganizational skillsMust demonstrate neat and accurate report writingMust be willing to travel to provide service for customers in remote regionsTroy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. offers an excellent compensation package, including a comprehensive benefits program with paid sick time.
