Development Miner- Maclean Bolter

We are currently seeking a motivated and qualified individual to join our growing team as Development Miner
- Maclean Bolters. There are several open positions available to support our projects in Matachewan, ON. We are actively seeking to fill these positions to support the continued success of our operations.

The key responsibilities include but not limited to;

• Performing pre-operational inspections and ensuring safe operation of mechanized bolter
• Inspecting existing underground headings and scaling loose rocks while working according to work procedures and company policies within a safety conscious environment
• Operate Maclean Bolter to install primary and secondary ground support in development headings
• Operate Maclean Bolter to recondition existing underground drifts and headings
• Participating in other facets of underground development, as required, which includes LHD operation, service advancement, load development faces and other underground activities
• Assisting with other support duties such as mechanical installations; maintenance of air, water and ventilation

• Must have Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000, U0001, U0002, U0003, U0004, U0005, U0006, U0010, & U0012) or equivalent provincial designation
• Must have Underground Specialty module U0018 – Operate Mechanized Rock Bolter
• Following Specialty module(s) are considered an asset: U0068 A or B – Perform Trackless Haulage
• Previous experience using a jackleg and stoper considered an asset
• Must have a minimum of 5 years underground development experience
