Job Title: Shop and Field Mechanic

Our client is looking for their next Shop and Field Mechanic in the Moncton area. They are a well‑established manufacturing organization with more than 45 years of industry experience and a workforce of approximately 250 employees. They are the only company in Canada specializing in the production of aerial devices, with products distributed extensively across both Canada and the United States.
What You'll DoDiagnose and repair equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and limited pneumatic systemsInterpret blueprints and schematics to support accurate troubleshooting and repairAdjust, calibrate, and maintain equipment both in the shop and on customer sitesPerform warranty repairs, component replacements, and routine maintenance on customer unitsConduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety and performance standardsTravel to client locations across the region to complete service workCommunicate professionally with customers, representing the organization with confidence and technical credibilityManage your own schedule and support the growth of the service department and customer baseWhat You'll BringA Millwright/Red Seal or trained heavy vehicle mechanic, electromechanical technician, or equivalentSkilled in hydraulic systems; experience with aerial devices is a strong assetBilingual in English and French (asset)Equipped with strong interpersonal skills and able to represent the company professionally in the fieldConfident working independently, interacting with customers, and managing a dynamic workloadIn possession of a clean Class 5 driver’s abstractOwner of personal tools and a toolbox (asset)Comfortable with a role that requires regular regional travel and occasional overnight assignmentsBenefits & Environment14 paid statutory holidaysA standard 40‑hour workweek, with workload variations ranging from 30 to 60 hoursGroup insurance program and RRSP programA balanced role combining shop‑based mechanical work and mobile field serviceRegional travel, including occasional overnight assignments, while maintaining evenings and weekends at homeThe opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled senior mechanic within a well‑established, growing organizationIf this Shop and Field Mechanic role sounds right for you, apply today.
