Role Overview  Our Client is a well-established machinery company based in Grafton, Ontario, seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Heavy Machinery Dismantler to join their growing team. The successful candidate will dismantle heavy construction and industrial equipment, prepare machinery for export, and load components into shipping containers safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities   Dismantle heavy construction equipment including excavators, loaders, compactors, and other industrial machinery.
Use hand and power tools including impact wrenches, ratchets, grinders, and hammers to remove and organise machine components for shipment.
Load equipment and parts into shipping containers safely and securely.
Assist with positioning and securing machinery to maximise container space and ensure safe transportation.
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move machinery and components.
Conduct basic equipment inspections before operation and report any issues promptly.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet shipping schedules and operational targets.
Uphold all company Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and maintain a clean, organised work area.
Required Experience & Skills   Proven experience using hand and power tools in an industrial or mechanical environment.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor and industrial setting.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively within deadlines.
Must be able to reliably commute to Grafton, ON or plan to relocate prior to starting.
Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operation experience is preferred.
Good to Have   
-Prior experience with heavy construction machinery including forklifts, loaders, excavators, or compactors.
-Knowledge of heavy machinery components and equipment systems.
-Mechanical repair, maintenance, or technician background is considered a strong asset.
