Dock Worker; Forklift Operator

Location: City of Moncton
THE ROLE
- Begin the position performing general labour duties and manually putting orders together within a warehouse environment
- Handle and prepare materials and orders using proper handling techniques
- Safely operate a forklift as responsibilities transition toward more forklift-focused operations
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs
- Perform frequent bending, stretching, lifting and other physical activities throughout the shift
- Follow all safety procedures and company expectations in a fast-paced work environment
- Wear all required PPE at all times
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Valid forklift certification
- Valid Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification
- WHMIS certification
- CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots
- Ability to safely lift and handle up to 75 lbs
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including bending and stretching for extended periods
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
Legally authorized to work in Canada - Clear criminal record check required prior to placement
- $18.00/hour
- Ongoing full-time opportunity
- 40 hours per week:
- Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Monday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Thursday & Saturday :
Off - Friday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Opportunity to transition into more forklift-focused duties as experience is gained
