Serve the premium Caterpillar brand as a Resident Field Service Technician, repairing heavy equipment at Muskoka Region customer sites.
Toromont Cat is hiring a full-time permanent technician for resident field service across Muskoka Region and surrounding areas. This remote assignment combines mechanical diagnosis, field repairs, and customer communication. The successful candidate brings heavy equipment expertise, safe work behaviours, and a strong work ethic to every service visit.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide service at customer sites using a Toromont Service truck
Diagnose mechanical problems with Caterpillar testing equipment
Complete quality repairs within established time standards
Communicate regularly with customers during onsite visits
Demonstrate safe and environmentally sound work behaviours
Requirements:
Related post-secondary heavy equipment mechanics education
Three years post-apprenticeship technician experience minimum
Heavy equipment repair and maintenance experience
Valid driver’s license required; DZ preferred
421A license considered a valued asset
