Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary

We are a state‑of‑the‑art, privately‑owned dental office located in Neosho, Webb City, and Monett, MO. The position we are looking to fill is in our Monett location. DENTAL HYGIENIST NEEDED FOR OUR GROWING MONETT DENTAL OFFICE. We offer a $2,000 SIGN‑ON BONUS and a single‑column schedule. Our workplace is awesome, patient‑oriented, and team‑driven. • Set up, breakdown, and sterilization of instruments and operatories
• Take blood pressure and review medical history
• Oral health evaluations (cancer screening, hard and soft tissue, perio charting, dental caries, and home‑care routines)
• Perform complete dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, and topical fluoride application
• Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
• Acquire digital radiographs
• Collaboration with the dentist during hygiene appointments to facilitate a thorough exam for the patient
• Treatment planning

• Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments
• Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
• Experience using electronic medical records is a plus

As our valued dental hygienist, you can use your clinical skills and expertise to provide preventive care to our patients, including cleanings, SRP, taking X‑rays, and educating patients on oral health. You will work closely with our dentists to ensure patients receive the highest quality care.

• Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments
• Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist
• Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment
• Applying fluorides and other cavity‑preventing agents to prevent dental decay

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Missouri
• Minimum of an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene;
  Bachelor's degree is a plus
• CPR Certification

Salary: $40 per hour with commission incentives.

Job Type: Part‑time, Monday – Wednesday and every 3rd Friday or Tuesday – Thursday and every 3rd Friday. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, morning meeting at 7:45 am.
